¶ The problem
When cooking a plugin you might run into errors similar to these, stating filename is too long:

¶ Solution
To enable long file name/long path support you must change one key in the Windows Registry.
Open the Windows Registry-Editor. Either use the Windows Search or the Run Dialog accessed by pressing Win+R and open regedit.exe. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem.
Double click on LongPathsEnabled and change the value to 1. You do not need to restart your PC for this change to become effective, simply retry cooking.
